Why you should join us!

Black women are disproportionately affected by infertility and adverse pregnancy outcomes, but the topic is often overlooked and underfunded. Systemic racism, including the lack of access to quality healthcare, is one of the major factors driving this discrepancy. Additionally, research has revealed that black women have higher Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) scores than white women, which can contribute to chronic health conditions and fertility challenges.

Jocelyn’s presentation will illuminate the effects of race and trauma on our fertility, and how we can reclaim our health and fertile abundance before trying to conceive. She will also share her own journey to conception at 40 while navigating endometriosis.

We look forward to having Jocelyn with us and the powerful discussion that is sure to follow.

I was already a womb practitioner having studied under Queen Afua when I joined Yoniversity, the course is down to earth and soooo packed full of information. It really takes the old traditions making them exciting and enjoyable for the modern womb. The research has definitely been done--where most people stop with the superficial information, this course has the history and science all in regular, understandable English. I walked away from each part feeling confident, and wiser.
